Agape Invisible Illusions

Agape-Illusions promises a very natural look like your own hair and can be worn with style versatility. Results from this non-surgical procedure are so special that the critics called it Invisible Weave! No braiding, no bonding, no messy glue, no bulkiness. You can retouch your relaxer and color without removing the Agape Invisible Illusions.

      Q: What is it?

Agape's Illusions are a strand-by-strand process in which strands of extension hair is added to strands of your hair to create an invisible look.  The extensions do not use glue, thread or any type of adhesive.

      Q: How is it applied?

It is applied using dental floss to secure the hair; the floss is then removed leaving a strand as if it is growing from your scalp. It is then coated with Agape Protective Sealant ®.  This ensures it will last the duration of the process.

Q:  How long does it last?

This technique lasts about 10 months to 1 year with no maintenance.

      Q: How is it removed?

It is removed by snipping the small strip of the extension hair that’s wrapped.  This is not easy to explain without seeing it done.  It is a very easy process to remove.

Q:  How long does it take?

It could take 3 to 4 days, and 7 to 9 days for invisible-mini's, depending on the look you want to achieve.

Q:  I understand that the same amount of hair is added to mine, but are you sure there's no tension or damage on my hair and it's not damaging to the ends?

The hair is attached by using the start of a micro-braid, but is not a braid.  The extension hair is wrapped around using the dental floss, and then removed, leaving an invisible strand.  The dental floss is removed in the process, so it is not left in your hair. The process does not cause damage to your hair.  You care for your hair like normal.  The extensions are not big enough to cause damage. Not enough hair is added per strand to cause breakage.  Your ends are left open for you to care for.  the hair is attached at the root, not the end.

Q: I read that there's some type of dental floss added to help attach the hair. Wouldn't this cause breakage of some sort?

The dental floss is just to help apply the extension. It does not remain in the hair.

Q: How do you avoid damaging the hair when taking these out? I'm very scared that I'll lose half of my hair when the time comes to have these removed.

Because of the way the hair is applied, small piece of extension hair that’s wrapped (from extension hair, not yours) is clipped, leaving your own hair free.

Q: My hairline is thin; however, the rest of my hair is healthy, medium-thick. I don't want it to be too big w/a whole lot of extra fullness (especially b/c it's not completely relaxed and it curls/kinks/spirals). Is it possible to avoid an overly full look?

During the consultation, we determine the look and fullness that you want to achieve before starting the procedure.

What is Fusion strand-by-strand

Q:  What is fusion.

Fusion is a strand-by-strand technique where a special adhesive is attached to your hair at the roots, creating a completely natural look.

Q:  I’ve heard several horror stories about fusion, is it safe for my hair?

Most people, who perform fusion, are completely unaware that there are different solutions used to apply fusion. Most assume that all glue sticks for fusion are the same.  This is completely false.  For a while I would not do fusion because of the damage it caused, until I came across a method that’s completely safe.  Agape Collection produces it's own solution to attach the extensions made of protein and nutrients to protect the hair shaft at the root during the wear of your extensions.  Most fusion is wax based; it’s sticky and very messy.  It’s heated to attach, and has to be reheated to remove.  It’s very messy and can break hair, because it’s difficult to remove.  Agape’s solution is very clean to apply and removes very clean. It actually turns into a powder when you drip out solution on it to remove them, causing no damage at all.  It does not react to heat like the regular fusion sticks, therefore you can blow-dry, curl, flatiron, etc., and your fusion won’t melt!

Another key factor in getting fusion is to know the stylist who’s performing the technique.  An expert must perform fusion.  He or she must know exactly how much hair to distribute, per your strands of hair.  If this is not done properly, you can loose hair in plugs!   You must know exactly how much adhesive to use, you can’t use too much, or too little.  It takes practice.  Make sure that if you’re going to get fusion, it is very important that you ask lots of questions to discern whether or not the stylist is interested in the health of your hair.

Q: How long does it take?

1 day.

Q: How long does it last?

It could last from 4-6 months.

 Q: How is it removed?

Our Agape Remover removes it. It’s dripped on the bond which turns into a powder, and slides off. No sticky glued mess!!  It’s dry and clean and does not cause damage to the hair.

Remy Hair

Q:  What’s the difference between Virgin Cuticle Remy hair and hair that we buy from the beauty supply stores?

The hair at beauty supply stores is actually collected from hairbrushes and usually will last only 2 months at the longest, or maybe through one wash.  Read the complete store on REMY HAIR.  This will explain to you why your hair that you buy from beauty supply stores won’t last.
