   Why won't my weave last?      


Believe it or not, but millions of women of all ages collect their hair every day after brushing it, this is often described as fallen hair. This collection can include dark hair, grey hair, and hair of all lengths and thickness. This hair is cheaper to purchase because as a result of this method of collection, hair is mixed up and misaligned with cuticles falling in different directions.  Because of the mixture of different hairs in this mass and because some areas are particularly oily or dirty, it is very often impossible to fully remove all the cuticles. Because of the mixed direction of the cuticles, the hair has to be subjected to an acid process in order to remove the cuticle in an attempt to prevent any subsequent tangling.  To give this acid treated hair a more healthy appearance, the hair is usually dipped in silicon to make it shine and to cover up any cuticles that were not removed in the acid bath. The silicon also adds weight to the hair, which makes it fetch a better price on the market since hair is generally sold, by weight. The standard of this hair is of course variable, and its quality depends very much on finding a good reliable supplier. This method of production produces the hair used in the vast majority of hair extension services across the world. Here’s what usually happens……

* What is Remy Hair?______________________________________________________
Human hair collected directly from a hair donor is Remy Hair. It is sometimes referred to as Cuticle Hair, Virgin Hair and Cut Hair. The majority of human hair sold in the industry is non-cuticle hair. The hair cuticle has been stripped by using an acid-bath. With Remy hair we do not do this so the hair cuticle is intact, therefore the hair is stronger.

This hair is truly the most exceptional ever. It Is cut from one persons head & sewn in the same direction hair naturally grows. Remy hair is collected by appointment directly from the hair donor. The hair is tied in one direction, harvested and the result is un-stripped hair cuticle in addition natural direction of the hair is preserved. Non Remy hair is hair that is collected at random, not keeping track of the natural direction will tangle when it gets wet. Even though some part of the hair cuticle will be treated in the coloring process, hair shaft will be left healthy enough to keep it's original functions. With Remy hair the cuticle is always going in one direction as on a natural head of hair, so it does not tangle.
